Se não existe um gênero chamado Boogie Rock acabei de inventar, apenas para poder classificar este conjunto, já que trata-se de uma música cheia de muito "swing" e "latinidad", sem perder as origens e a essencia do rock. O primeiro nome que me vem à mente fazendo algo parecido é o mexicano Carlos Santana, mas o estilo é diferente. De qualquer forma, é um ótimo disco, sem dúvida!

"Victor" é um álbum solo conceitual do guitarrista do Rush Alex Lifeson realizado em janeiro de 1996, cujos nome e tema se baseiam num poema de W. H. Auden e que mostra um a tendencia mais "pesada" deste excelente guitarrista, que muitas vezes tem seu valor depreciado no Rush. Eu particularmente considero Alex altamente competente e com um sentimento de grupo altamente desenvolvido, valorizando mais a harmonia do que o solo ou o trabalho individual, sem, contudo, deixar de realizar belos trabalhos individuais. O album conseguiu a posição 99 da Billboard 200 em 1996 e recebeu em 1997 o prêmio Juno pelo "Best New Group".
