ZZ Top é uma banda de rock americana, que destacou-se entre os 70 e 80, e são naturais de Houston, Texas.

Com um som de guitarra distinto e a letras satíricas (muitas delas a respeito de lugares e eventos de sua terra natal, o Texas) a banda provavelmente se destaca pelo seu visual diferente. Gibbons e Hill sempre são fotografados com óculos escuros, utilizando sobre-tudo e barbas gigantescas, o que torna esta combinação sua marca registrada. Frank Beard (beard significa alguém que usa barba, em inglês), ironicamente não tem barba. Em 1984, a empresa Gillette ofereceu a Gibbons e Hill US$ 1 milhão de dólares, para que eles aparecessem sem barbas em um comercial mas eles recusaram. (Wikipedia)
