"100 Ton Chicken", de (1969) é o terceiro álbum do Chicken Shack e último com a participação de Christine Perfect. Ela deixou a banda quando se casou com John McVie do Fleetwood Mac, adotando o nome de Christine McVie.

Chicken Shack foi uma banda inglesa de blues composta por Chistine Perfect (vocals e keyboards), Stan Webb (guitar e vocals), Andy Sylvester (bass guitar) e Alan Morley (drums).

A banda foi formada em 1967, fizeram seu primeiro concerto, naquele mesmo ano, no "National Blues and Jazz Festival" em Windsor e, logo após, assinaram com a Blue Horizon.

O Chicken Shack fez modesto sucesso comercial, tendo Christine Perfect sido votada "The Best Female Vocalist" em pesquisa da Melody Maker.

Christine saiu da banda em 1969 quando se casou com John McVie do Fleetwood Mac. Paul Raymond (pianista), Andy Sylvester (baixista) e Dave Bidwell (baterista) deixaram a banda para se juntar ao Savoy Brown. A banda, com o único remanescente da formação original, Stan Webb, continua lançando novos álbuns.

"Forty Blue Fingers, Freshly Packed And Ready To Serve" é o primeiro álbum da banda e foi lançado em 1968.
