The Waterboys é uma banda fundada pelo vocalista e guitarrista escocês Mike Scott, que fez sucesso na década de 1980.

"Fisherman's Blues", é o quarto álbum da banda, foi lançado em 1099 pelo selo Chrysalis, e é considerado o melhor álbum da banda. Nele os Waterboys retomam o estilo original da banda, uma mistura de 'traditional Irish music', 'country music' e 'rock and roll'.
