"Denim & A Strat", Live At My Father's Place, september 03,1974, Roslyn, New York, é um ótimo bootleg do genial e saudoso guitarrista Rory Gallagher. Entretanto, ele foi captado através de uma transmissão de rádio fm o que não tem comparação quando a gravação é da mesa de som, ou seja, soundboard. Mas, podem ficar tranquilos que o áudio é muito bom e destaco a execução de "Early In The Morning" com mais de 10 minutos. Dowload Djá,folks!!! Essa postagem é para dois amigos: José Renato e Woody.

Rory Gallagher (2 de Março de 1948 – 14 de Junho de 1995) era um guitarrista irlandês de blues/rock, nascido em Ballyshannon, County Donegal.

Suas primeiras bandas eram "showbands" que tocavam hits populares. Em 1966 ele formou o Taste, mas o line-up que se tornou legendário foi formado em em 1967, com Rory na guitarra e vocais, o baterista John Wilson e o baixista Richard McCracken. O taste lançou dois álbuns de estúdio ("Taste" e "On the Boards") e dois ao vivo ("Live at Montreux" e "Live at the Isle of Wight").

Rory tocou com vários artistas legendários do blues, incluindo colaborações com Muddy Waters e Jerry Lee Lewis (em seus respectivos "London Sessions") nos meados dos anos 70.

A década de 70 foi a mais prolifica para Rory (em carreira solo). Ele produziu 10 álbuns incluindo dois ao vivo. Em 1972 ele foi nomeado como "Top Musician of the Year" pela revista Melody Maker.
