Robin Trower, nascido em Catford, Londres, Inglaterra é um destacado guitarrista que ganhou notoriedade com o Procol Harum, nos anos 60. Após sua saída do grupo, em 1973, iniciou carreira solo.

Bridge of Sighs o segundo álbum solo de Robin Trower, e considerado por muitos como o melhor, foi produzido pelo tecladista do Procol Harun, Matthew Fisher e teve como engenheiro de som Geoff Emerick, que trabalhou com os Beatles.
